My hobby “Basketball”

One of my favourite sports is basketball. Last summer I and my friends played basketball nearly every day in our freetime. At school we played during the breaks and after school outside in the depot. Sometimes we were just five, sometimes 10 or 12 persons. But often we got new players. Most time we played without the real rules, just with the most important ones, but it was very funny because of the unfair playing, but only if no one was hurt. There were good players who played in clubs and players who had never played before. But this was not a problem, because the good players taught the other players the tricks. That time was really great, but then a lot of the players passed the “Abitur” (final exam) and left our school. So they had less time than before and we could not play at school anymore. Now most of the players live in other cities or they work all day. That´s why we play very seldom now.

I agree with you because you and me play basketball together. It´s very funny to play basketball in the breaks, but because of the bad weather in the last months we couldn´t play. But soon there will be spring and summertime, and so we will be able to play basketball with some pupils. I´m looking forward to playing it again. While playing basketball we get to know some other students. I hope the weather will be fine so that we can play it.
